After having several disappointing experiences with other vacuums, I decided to wait to write a long-term review of this product. For me, a vacuum cleaner’s performance over time is far more important than first impressions. Now that I’ve been using this vacuum for 2 years, I feel confident giving it a 5-star rating (I love it, with just a few minor critiques).
Why I bought this vacuum: I needed something to quickly pick up small debris without hauling out a heavier upright vacuum. I keep it docked in my main living area for easy access whenever needed.
Things I love: After purchasing this vacuum, I brought home a golden retriever puppy, so now about 90% of what I vacuum consists of dog hair. Even though I didn’t buy it specifically for pet hair, it handles it exceptionally well. I frequently use it to clean up stray clumps of dog hair that collect in corners (pet owners know what I mean). For carpets and upholstery, you’ll need something more powerful, but for hardwood floors, tile, and other hard surfaces, it performs wonderfully.
For those without pets, this vacuum still has plenty of uses. I use it to quickly clean up crumbs in the kitchen and to pick up small leaves and dirt near doorways. During the holiday season, it’s my go-to for cleaning up Christmas tree needles that inevitably scatter everywhere (just like the dog hair!).

I absolutely love this Dust Buster! I ordered the 12-volt model, which I already own, but it seems to be discontinued. The only issue I encountered upon arrival was that it came with a two-prong charger base designed for the USA/Canada, instead of the three-pin plug used in the UK. I had to buy an adapter to use it with my UK appliances.

1- Once fully charged, the battery lasts only a limited time of about 6 minutes.
2- The manufacturer claims it works for 11 minutes, which is not accurate; it provides strong suction only for the first 5 minutes.
After that, the noise remains, but the suction power significantly decreases.
In summary, the vacuum offers good suction only when the battery is at 100%, and it drops to 70% after charging. After that, it produces annoying noise with very weak suction.
