  1. American Trevor

I’ve been using the eufy X10 Pro for about four months now, and I can confidently say my family can’t imagine living without it. We rely on it for daily cleaning of our entire main floor and do a deep clean mopping once a week.

The app is user-friendly and allows for easy customization of cleaning profiles. It picks up pet hair better than we ever could with a broom, and it’s so convenient when it returns to its home base to empty its collection.

Pros: strong suction power, effective mapping and obstacle avoidance (though it does get a bit too close to the stairs for comfort), and a decent app with straightforward scheduling.

Cons: the powerful suction can be quite loud, especially when it docks to unload at home base. We try to schedule cleaning sessions just before we come home to minimize the noise.

Overall, we love this product and will provide updates if we encounter any service issues in the future.

  2. MJ

Usage: large areas with minimal furniture and various surfaces (commercial carpet, thick doormats, uneven wooden floors), experiencing high foot traffic.

After comparing it to a Shark robo vac (which doesn’t mop), the eufy X10 Pro Omni significantly outperforms the former in every category listed below.

Pros: effortless setup; seamless mapping with intuitive map editing; excellent app (quick to launch, user-friendly, with numerous linked videos for error messages and settings); strong suction and mopping capabilities; saves space settings for future use; operates reliably around obstacles; avoids falling down stairs and adheres to no-go zones; easy maintenance (in-context support videos are readily available, eliminating the need for extensive online searches); highly responsive customer support via phone, chat, and email (I cannot emphasize this enough—when we inquired about their proprietary cleaning solution for our hardwood floors, they even sent us an evaluation package, which turned out to give a shiny finish, comparable to Murphy’s, though with no lemon scent).

Cons: I can’t think of any major issues. This is as good as it gets for AI-powered vacuums and mops. However, it does require some supervision. In areas with furniture, a bit of preparation is necessary for a thorough clean (moving furniture away from walls, temporarily relocating power cables, etc., before setting everything back in place). I’d appreciate earlier notifications about a compromised brushroll or a full dustbin. The device was acting strangely, and it took some time to figure out why. So, there’s room for improvement here, but I’ll just add ‘vac maintenance’ to my regular chores.

Notes: It’s not as speedy as I would prefer (especially when vacuuming and mopping simultaneously; cleaning 77 square meters took about an hour on hardwood with no carpets). Since it can only cover this area on a single charge, I’ve started dividing our large spaces to prevent the ‘Auto-return Cleaning’ function from activating at inconvenient times. There are scheduling options that might enhance my usage, but I haven’t explored those yet. Out of the box, it can be quite chatty, which isn’t very helpful as the messages can be hard to understand—by the time I tune in to the voice and accent, the message is over and may not be repeatable. Additionally, while it gets close to walls, it tends to bump into them and doors, which can create some noise.

Overall: This is one of the few purchases that truly made a difference and is incredibly easy to use. Highly recommended. Eufy rocks!

This was my first experience with a robot vacuum, as I always thought they were somewhat gimmicky. I opted for Eufy because I’ve been impressed with the build quality of their cameras. While the x10 may not feel as robust as the cameras, it still delivers a strong performance. It took me a bit of time to get accustomed to the software, but now that I’m familiar with it, it’s quite user-friendly.

The first task I set for it was to automatically map my main floor. It successfully navigated around numerous obstacles, thanks to my two dogs, three cats, and kids, and produced an accurate map. When it came to cleaning, it handled my ceramic, vinyl, and carpeted areas exceptionally well. The battery life was just about enough to complete the job, considering my house is fairly large at 3,000 sq ft. The vacuum automatically fills the mop with water and cleaner, and it even refills and cleans the mop heads as needed. At the end of the cleaning cycle, it self-empties the dust into a large storage bag at its base.

I also had it map the second floor using the multi-map feature. It can sweep or vacuum a floor without the base unit, but it cannot mop. I understand this limitation, as it wouldn’t be able to clean the mop heads or refill the water reservoir once it started. It would be great if they offered optional base units to address this issue.

The only uncertainty I have is regarding the unit’s longevity. So far, I’m thrilled with the product, and I’ll update this review if it doesn’t hold up over time.

  4. Rebecca

I’ve been using this product for about six months now, and I wanted to wait before sharing my thoughts. I typically run it two to three times a week, and I absolutely love it! This is my second robot vacuum (the first one is from the same brand), and it’s my first that also has mopping capabilities. The floor prep is minimal—just picking up stray papers, guitar picks, cords, and cat toys before starting Chester from the app. I can command it to clean just one room, focus solely on vacuuming, and adjust both the water usage for mopping and the vacuum strength. Chester cleans in a systematic manner and adeptly avoids larger obstacles without bumping into them. I mainly use it on the main floor of my home, but I’ve taken it upstairs a few times, and it performs wonderfully there too.

On the downside, it takes a long time to clean my main floor since it frequently returns to its station to recharge or refill with clean water. Each time it docks, it unloads dust, which is quite loud—similar to a regular vacuum cleaner. While you can program it to avoid certain areas, it still tends to get caught on cords (like from my floor lamp) and other objects. Because of this, I don’t have Chester on a schedule; it’s not really practical to run it when no one is home. The app does a great job of notifying me when maintenance is needed, which I appreciate. Sometimes it feels like I’m the one working for Chester, with all the refilling and cleaning required, but then I remember that I haven’t mopped since July and haven’t had to use my traditional vacuum much, so I don’t mind putting in a little effort to keep him running well! I also use the cleaning detergent available on Amazon with the mop water, and I highly recommend it.

As a dedicated tech researcher, I thoroughly investigate any purchase over $10. I delve into the company, the product, and if I’m dissatisfied upon receiving it, I return it with honest feedback.

For the past couple of years, we’ve been using a budget-friendly robot vacuum that did a great job bouncing around our home, keeping it mostly dog hair-free. We would change out the tank and have it mop every couple of weeks, and it performed quite well without any complaints.

This past Christmas, my mother wanted to gift us something to ease our burden. With one of us battling cancer, managing house chores amidst travel, chemo appointments several states away, a career, and all the usual errands became increasingly challenging. I was impressed with our current, simpler robot vacuum, which had given me back some precious time, so I decided to explore more advanced options.

After extensive research, I compared the Eufy Omni X10 with several pricier models. Many online reviews and magazine articles highlighted it as a strong contender. Cleaning a 3,000-square-foot home is no small feat, especially with the age of our house, which features transitions between older and renovated rooms, as well as various carpet sizes on parquet floors. Our previous vacuum struggled with these obstacles, often getting stuck. However, this new model has consistently amazed me with its precise cleaning capabilities.

Setting it up was a breeze. The robot autonomously mapped our entire home, and I was able to name the rooms and customize routines. For instance, every night at 9 PM, it vacuums and mops the kitchen floor, even taking the extra time to clean the edges, which I find impressive. I simply sweep food prep crumbs onto the floor and let it handle the rest. I also have a routine for vacuuming some rooms every other day, while both vacuuming and mopping others. The bathrooms get cleaned twice every other day. The unit is smart enough to recognize when I’ve moved furniture, returning seamlessly to empty its dust bag, clean its mop heads, dry them, recharge, and continue where it left off.

With two shedding Jack Russells that track dirt everywhere, this little robot takes care of muddy paw prints and pet hair, leaving no trace behind.

The only maintenance required is filling it with fresh water (and cleaning solution, available separately from Eufy) and emptying the dust bag and dirty water tank when prompted. When it self-empties, it’s about as loud as a regular vacuum, so I let it clean during the day without disturbing anyone. I also make sure to clean the dirty mop tank and the tray on the charging base regularly. In return, it saves me hours each week to spend with my spouse.

I don’t easily give out five-star ratings, but I wholeheartedly recommend this intelligent little vac/mop robot. As always, order replacement items with your purchase, get an extended warranty, and take proper care of it for longevity. It’s an outstanding product.

Now, if only we had a drone duster that could handle windows too—I’m sure that’s on the horizon, and I’ll be first in line when it arrives!

  6. Samie

    Pros:

    • Cleans and vacuums simultaneously, self-empties, and even cleans and dries the mop pads on its own!
    • The app offers customizable cleaning options, allowing me to target specific zones and choose the cleaning type for each area—for instance, I can deep clean the kitchen floors while maintaining regular cleaning for the rest.
    • Scheduling features in the app let me set automatic cleaning times, frequency, and exact locations.
    • Effectively detects and avoids obstacles on the floor.
    • Supports multiple floors with multi-map functionality.
    • The app clearly manages maintenance tasks and notifies me when attention is needed.

    Cons:

    • The vacuum is loud for a few seconds when it empties.
    • It struggles to fit under my sofa and table, which is a significant drawback for me.
    • The unit frequently returns to the station to clean and wash the mop cloths, as well as to recharge, which extends the overall cleaning time.
    • Requires a bit of space around it for setup.

I typically run the unit overnight or very early in the morning to keep my floors consistently clean. After meals, I’ve set it up to deep clean (vacuum and mop) the kitchen area in front of the stove and fridge, while just vacuuming around and under the table.

Previously, I used another brand of robot vacuum that required changing the tank for mopping and manual emptying after each use. Although it worked well, I rarely utilized the mopping feature since it needed to recharge after vacuuming, often causing me to move on to other tasks before it could mop.

This unit has significantly saved me time with minimal intervention, and my floors have never been cleaner! I appreciate all the customization options, but the main downside is that it isn’t slim enough to fit under my sofa or coffee table.

  7. Smallies

The mopping feature is excellent; however, the device occasionally struggles when moving onto carpet, which is not particularly thick or high.

  8. Darla Hollowood

I’m thrilled with this vacuum! We replaced our iRobot with it, and what an improvement! It operates much more quietly, so my dog no longer barks at it constantly. I appreciate the self-empty feature, and the fact that it vacuums and mops is perfect for my combination of hard floors and carpets. It even adapts for area rugs! Its compact size allows it to fit under the dog’s cot easily. The mapping feature is fantastic, and the app lets me track its progress and see where it has cleaned. I love the “zones” option, enabling me to clean the entire house or specific areas as needed. Setting it up was a breeze, and it’s super user-friendly!
